What IP rating do I need for outdoor lights in India?
For general outdoor use in India, a minimum of IP65 is recommended — it protects against dust and rain jets. For areas exposed to heavy monsoon rain, waterlogging, or coastal spray, IP66 or IP67 is the safer choice. All GlowNest outdoor lights are rated IP65 or above.
What is the difference between a flood light and a street light?
LED street lights use an asymmetric beam designed to spread light along roads without glare, and are typically pole-mounted. Flood lights cast a wide, uniform beam over a large area and are ideal for parking lots, building facades, sports grounds, and construction sites. GlowNest offers both categories with IP66 ratings.
